The spike in use of herbal weight loss pills is cause of overwhelming concern for the FDA as rates of drug related deaths continue to climb.

Fat burners are despite government efforts fast becoming a normal supplement among all age groups and equally among men and women. This growing trend is of a growing concern for government health agency’s and parents around the country. The main reason for concern is the addition of Ephedrine contained in the formula to make these fat burners. This ingredient is dangerous because it creates a state of increased hear rate, which can cause your heart to be unhealthy and can sometimes lead to death.

There are many concerned people and some of the things they plan to do to attempt to curb people from purchasing these pills will include nutrition advice along with education about the dangerous ingredients used in the product. A hurdle these interest groups face in curbing the consumption would have to be the fact that it is no longer only a specific group that uses the weight loss pills and it is no longer only young females. There will always be efforts to end the use of these pills, but only time will tell if it will work.
