MachineAmbition you are correct. All symptoms and conditions and mental states are not caused soley by the environment.

In my video I purposefully leave that part out. I am stating that these environmental factors make it difficult to regain health of a stressed body when present.

There is a lot of debate as to what sets illness in. Some say emotional factors, others genetics.

As far as genetics I always refer to the Pottenger Cat study.

MachineAmbition that is a good point. I wish more doctors would take that philosophy versus telling the patient you will be on this for the rest of your life.

Medicine certainly has its place. Especially in disease conditions. It allows something to change while the underlying cause can be addressed in the meantime.

origin of humans and the world. what would be the name for that? janology? originology?

evolution isn't the only theory that explain our origins. it is a sacred cow. and when it does get challenged, people get tripped up and confused that science and evolution are synonymous and that any theory that does not adhere to naturalism and an absence of a higher being or any intelligent design becomes synonymous with religious and by proxy illogical or "non-scientific". this is the first and biggest

this guy is
ON THE MONEY about discerning the good medicine and bad medicine... except probably chiropractors. chiropractic should also be relegated to the emergency situations and "has it's place" zone. what really heals you is prolotherapy is acupucnture.

the example of meds as putting tape over the check oil light is great.I think it is great you can acknowledge when allopathic medicine is appropriate. You don't take St. John's Wort or Lavender oil for a car wreck. You need an ER. Medicine offers restorative treatment. Much of alternative medicine is preventative. You follow good nutrition to prevent illness. Exercise is more efficacious then SSRIs for warding off depression. So ask your doctor if getting off your ass is right for you.

One minor quibble over the body's ability to repair itself. Our bodies are not like salamanders regrowing tails. We don't heal like a slow version of Wolverine from Xmen. Sometimes we take damage and we do not entirely recover. It has been awhile since people have seen Polio victims for example. Amputated limbs don't come back. I have had injuries to my back in my teens I never received med care for. Chiropractics failed to heal me years later. I practice tai chi to prevent further degeneration.

you know when I first saw this comment I figured it was the opinion of an adult living in the fast lane. On impulse I check your profile. You are only 16 and you speak the gospel of the modern day consumer. That gospel is preached 24-7 on tv by advertising. When I was younger than you, I tried breathing, pressure points. I learned to beat headaches naturally. I refused to just take something now for it. Even today, 20 years later, I only break out pain meds after trying everything else first.
